International BIOMS Workshop "Modeling Cellular Systems"

The 2-day workshop is organized by the Center for Modeling and Simulation in the Biosciences (BIOMS) of Heidelberg University, and is going to take place from the 1st to the 2nd of October, 2014 at the BioQuant-Center, Heidelberg. The workshop will cover different aspects of modeling cellular systems broadly categorized into four different non-exclusive topics: Signaling pathways and information processing, Stochastic modeling, Cell motility and Multiscale modeling & Pattern formation.In correspondence to the intention of BIOMS, the workshop aims at discussing novel mathematical models and methods to analyze and study cellular systems. Thereby, it will cover intracellular and single cell dynamics, as well as cell population behavior.
