Heidelberg team AGAIN successful at iGEM competition at MIT

 

The Ruperto Carola student team won the Grand Prize at the iGEM competition 2014 .

Their project „The Ring of Fire“ that focuses on inteins as tools for protein circularization and their impact for synthetic biology was also awarded for "Best Foundational Advance“, for "Best Software“ and with the iGEMER’s Prize, where the participating teams select their favorite iGEM team. 

This year’s team was once again mentored by Barbara di Ventura and Roland Eils at the BioQuant center.
